Selling on your own is less common than it used to be: about 5% of US home sales in the year to June 2025, down from 13% in 2005 (NAR, 2025), and many were to someone the seller already knew. In Kelly’s experience, most owners who sell on their own without a plan end up listing with an agent or not selling. This check shows where you stand before you start.
Yes. The check, your result and the value range are free. To see the range, you give your name and email and tick at least one box. If Kelly introduces you to an agent and you list with them, that agent’s brokerage pays Kelly’s brokerage a referral fee. It comes out of that agent’s commission. You never have to hire anyone.
